I must say, I very much admire your capacity to make friends with anyone and everyone you come in contact with; your personality is infectious and I think of all the things I have watched, your ability to light up a room with your presence is the most fun to witness. One thing that I think would help also is if we could maybe go out to see Uncle John sometime because we always seem to have fun out there and we could maybe talk then.

Nowadays I'm out with friends, studying, working, or just hanging out in my room watching the newest episode of whatever show on Netflix. Being in college, I seem to have forgotten about the people who got me to where I am, and I’ve especially forgotten about the one person who pushed me to make me into the person I’ve become, my mother.

Mom, you taught me ambition, strength and perseverance. I am forever grateful to have watched you by example stay true to your course, not give up on your dreams, and go out there and make life happen.
